nce upon time in a place called Madison Wisconsin there was a wee designer named Wanda Marie Sanders. As a child she had a instant love affair with art. As early as the age of four she showed a flair for details rendering pupils as well as fingers with nails. Inspired by the glamor of Hollywood, "The Carol Burnett Show", and Fairytale books she began sketching characters and designs.  I

Wanda attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where  she received numerous awards and recognition for her work, the most prestigious being top honors for the United States in the International Air France Competition held in Paris. Her winning garment became part of the permanent costume collection in the Louvre Museum. With years of experience in the fashion and film industry Wanda found herself compelled to combine not only the creative aspects of these industries but, her fine arts background as well to create thoughtfully tailored and at times thought provoking pieces. Wanda's work has not only been worn by such personalities as Faith Evans, Graph Nobel, Venus and Serena Williams, but has been featured in such films as Spike Lee's "Girl 6" and "He Got Game" as well as the television program "Showtime at the Apollo." Applying her attention to detail and tailoring Wanda blends the past and present as well as thematic whimsy, to create unique pieces for those who dare venture through the looking glass.
